What!!!Wait a minute. Hold my phone…
Google froze up and literally gave up on optimizing everything on the planet.
Bing, YouTube, DuckDuckGo, all secondary search engine options have shut down because of a Google because they secretly owned them all as well.
All ranking elements, organic traffic, and visitors are missing in action.
3.5 billion searches a day, 40,000 per second and that’s only on Google, completely wiped out.
Why did the search engines shut down??
This quote should sum things up for us,
The computer can’t tell you the emotional story. It can give you the exact mathematical designs, but what’s missing is the eyebrows.
Frank Zappa, US Musician (1940-1993)
What did you say, MR? Zappa?
Never mind, here’s one from Pablo Picasso,
Computers are useless. They can only give you answers.
Put eyebrows on your content marketing tactics and Google will come find you. Meaning use your voice with that personality being the driven force, people will magically be attracted to you.
You don’t need search engines telling you what or how to rank. Let the people be the judge of that.
Now let’s get to some answers for optimizing your blog posts for the people, because, frankly, that’s who we’re really trying to communicate with anyways.
World’s Not listening, People will though
When starting a business online or off, you have to consider who you are trying to communicate too, when persuading others to become clients.
When I first started out, I had this insane idea of the world being my playground, so let’s start talking about it.
Bad Decision on my part.
My Battle plan at the time:
Broad terms and words with no punch.
Generalizations all over the place, NO proof to back it up.
Chatter about everyone being everything about nothing at all.
Content creations that feel like brick wall wrote it. Yea, that’s it…
Who Is Listening?
You have the passion already because you are here, looking for ways to create your passions into online opportunities, so the next step is to drill down on particular kinds of worldly folks that you want to talk to.
Get a paper and pencil out, think, dream, and write out your dream client. Then gives them all the basic info a real person would have:
Why would they buy from you, not someone else?
How does products or services help them solves their problems and issues or satisfying that desire they came to your site for?
Write like you talk to the folks that would completely enjoy doing business will you, not too, the whole globe that’s not listening…
What does good content marketing feel like?
When you are in this cold-hearted, cut-throat commercial world, where everyone starts the research project online, looking for the better solution to buy to solve a problem or satisfy as desire.
At the end of that, if you can come away with a feeling, that exceeds a commercial transition, that’s what good content marketing feels like.
When you end up with a friend or believer in what you’re business believes in.
You’re Media Domain, Please.
Since we all came to the rational idea that content marketing is an on-going strategy that keeps business insights relevant, we need a place to store all these media. Well, organized wealth of business opportunities, all under one hood.
Not on social media sites, video channels or even your favorite fishing hole…
All social mingling signals, videos, podcasts, posts, images, all marketing efforts directing folks to One Nation, Under God…
Damn that A.D.D…..
One Domain, people. One home people will remember, enjoy and return for more…
Dump the Default Template
Free themes, free blogs, or free blogs and free themes, they SUCK ..they just do.
Here’s a list that comes with free:
- Limitations on what you can create.
- Hidden links built into free stuff from who knows where.
- Customization is controlled by NOT you…
- Functionality and flexibility are strangled by boring corporate test models…
You can notice a free theme through a hurricane or two…
People have this fear or they were misled by the “Web Gurus”, that building a business online should be free as possible. And it really is cheap, something like this:
Domain Name: 25$/2 yrs
Email Marketing Platform: Free or 19.99/month or others…
And I am talking full customization that you totally control with your own fingertips.
But then you put a free theme on top of that, is just silly to me.
If there was anywhere you should spend most of your money on creating an online business the design or theme is vital.
You will be amazed by the difference.
Don’t Forget Responsive
We are existing 2014 and entering 2015 in a couple months. That means there will be more phones on the planet than people. I know kind of crazy but look it up..
You ever look up a website on a phone, and all of a sudden a glob of words covers the tiny screen? What would be your next move?
Me, globs of content scare me, you know why?
It speaks this to me,
Wow, insane crazy hard to read, if not impossible…
It scares people away and they just go elsewhere to get the most smooth answer…
Bye-Bye readers, customer or client.
You have to make sure your site has a responsive design so you can please all them phones, over seven billion and counting after ’15.
Finally, Search Engines Are Back On…
Yes, we get the benefits of ranking well in search engines for the right topics. Understanding that the right topics are valuable, useful, and necessary for people that are looking for the better answer, if the search robots were there or not…
My mission has never changed I will help you create the kind of audience focused presence online that helps you reach your business goals…
You will learn that success online is not only simple and easy, but fun.
