There seems to be a lot of ruckus or what I like to call “mosh pit-marketing” about what truly is a online sales funnel process and how does email marketing come in the equation?
Everybody dancing in circles around you, giving little or useless information about what a sales process is online, launching elbows and kneecaps of webmail piling up in crowded inboxes, crowd surfing on the wallets of others, just to earn a buck with their crappy products and services, leaving value and quality on the floor.
Feeling exhausted and drained after picking my face up off the floor, I realize that this amazing experience was a moment I probably won’t forget, especially if it’s your first concert.
I have been in my share of mosh pits to understand the passion, the raw power of the experience, just pure excitement, that runs through my vanes, after giving it your all at every show. It is a draining experience, but worth every minute.
This is the kind of atmosphere or experiences that digital media marketing brings to the mail marketing and sales process.
With all the voices from magazines, experts, bloggers and others, it’s hard to hear a clear message on what really works and what options do we have.
Remember my motto, simple, cheap, effective marketing like humans is what I am driving for.
Where is all this noise coming from?
The “mosh pit” guru’s pound us with instant software hacks and magic button answers that just create headaches and heart attacks for folks and our wallets.
They play the numbers game, create crap and cast a net over the internet, seeing if leads will get hooked.
Blast 50,000 fish with stupid offers, the percentage says someone will buy. This is after they purchased thousands of dollars on hooks(paid media).
You don’t need to buy everyone else’s heart attacks, magic landing pgs. or start “pitting” in the spam boxes of others.
Google doesn’t like it, you, me, my mom, your mom, doesn’t like it either so stop doing it.
I thought of a band out of America named Modest Mouse, from the song Bankrupt On Selling that explains it so well,
All of the businesses in their unlimited hell, where they buy and they sell and they sell all their trash to each other
but they’re sick of it all and they’re bankrupt on selling.
There is so much more thought and planning involved, then sending people to a sales page, blasting the folks with worthless cyber spam. Here’s some questions that are kind of important:

Relevancy is vital to you and your business, consider this a wake up call to action.
With all the savvy customers and all their “pretty little toys”, you need to have that presence online, cause they are coming to look for you.
Let them walk through the buying process themselves, trusting your business experiences and knowledge base you created when they find you.
If you can create the useful answer that visitors came to your site in the first place for, selling won’t be necessary.
Squeeze page, lead capture page, sales page, Mrs. Paige, E.T. phone home page, whatever you call your landing page, the purpose for this page is to get the visitors or customers to buy.
Since trust is already established through our content, selling won’t be necessary here. Use this to our advantage…..

One tip a day, with good size video, description, tasks to accomplish and CTA’s. You can tell it was scripted speech but scripted very well.
The flow was a little slow for my taste and that’s probably from my A.D.D. or the “shiny button syndrome” marketers catch online these days.
My point is, it created a great experience for me the 100th visitor. It creates great experiences for the 1,000,000th visitor, too.
Never needs a break, gets sick, hit by a car, never gets tired of talking or sending messages. Just never quits…

These emails are where I begin some “selly-sell” without interrupting the conversation. Don’t be rude by just blasting me with your discounts, sales and amazing offers, this is where everyone gets it wrong.
You just don’t stop adding value and quality to your businesses messages, cause they sign up to your list.
